[101] Enter Ricky Raptor — Description

The episode starts with the narrator explaining the legend of the Zeactpher Hero, a guardian of Earth chosen by the Spirit of Love to protect and promote peace. After the opening credits, Ricky rides a motorcycle out of a secret facility and is chased after by shadow drones. He and Hikari ditch the shadow drones and ride into Rose Town, where Ricky’s motorcycle malfunctions and he crashes into Jenny. They’re both OK, but when Ricky hears sirens, he takes Jenny’s hand and they run away.

When they stop running, Ricky explains that he came to Rose Town to give the National Police information on the criminal organization known as the Dark Bat Fang, but the disc containing that information was crushed in the earlier crash. Jenny then notices the Zeactpher symbol on Ricky’s bracelet and Hikari reveals herself, leading to Ricky revealing that he is the Zeactpher Hero. Jenny then explains she’s doing research on the Zeactpher Spheres and invites Ricky over to her place.

Jenny takes Ricky to her house where he meets her best friend and roommate, Amy. Hikari then reveals herself to Amy, who then reveals she has heard of Ricky Raptor’s name before from their mutual martial arts teacher, Master Ishiba. Ricky then explains his life story: Three years ago, he was kidnapped by Kyo, who used mind control to force Ricky into working for the DBF under the name “Jacky Tyrone”. One month ago, Ricky put on the Bracelet of Light and became the Zeactpher Hero. Hikari was born from the bracelet, gave Ricky his powers and freed him from the mind control. Also, his only living relative is his little sister Jessica, and he shows Amy and Jenny his locket containing pictures of Jessica, his parents and himself.

Ricky and Hikari then leave Amy and Jenny while a couple cars containing DBF agents and shadow drones head for Amy and Jenny’s house. Ricky runs into his best friend Chase, whom he hasn’t seen in three years, but Hikari interrupts the reunion by announcing that Amy and Jenny are in danger. Ricky and Hikari run back with Chase running behind. The DBF agents attack Amy and Jenny, demanding information on the Zeactpher Sphere, and fight them in their backyard. When the shadow drones attack, Ricky and Hikari arrive to help out, revealing his abilities. The four of them fight the DBF with Chase eventually joining in. Once the DBF are defeated, the agents retreat.

Later on, a DBF agent reports to Kyo on a monitor, whose face isn’t seen and whose voice is distorted. Kyo orders relocation of headquarters, as well as making Ricky Raptor enemy #1. Later still, at Chase’s apartment, Ricky and Hikari talk with Jenny, Chase and Amy, and he decides to search for the Zeactpher Spheres. The other three convince him to let them join him, so he has Hikari give each of them a fraction of his powers, so long as they keep to the same vow to never kill a person that he has made. After the end credits, the narrator appears on screen and gives a preview for the next episode.

This is the first drawing in a series of 52 drawings I plan uploading every Friday. These drawings are based off an idea for a TV series I have, so each drawing is called an "episode" and comes with an idea for a TV episode. While this first "episode" is a digital drawing, all future episodes will be black and white paper drawings, and will come with new stories.
